Before you commence work:

• All Services that are underground, at surface level, or overhead – which are in the vicinity of the works area – must be identified and appropriate measures put in place to protect them BEFORE any ground disturbance.

• A permit to work: Services, signed by an authorised person must be issued to all personnel involved in ground disturbing work.
• Dial Before You Dig plans must be available and easily accessible on site. All Service Authority Permits must be available and accessible on site.
• A site-specific Asset Protection Plan (APP) must be established and available on site.
• Absolutely no mechanical excavation until all of the above is completed.
